About Dirang: Nestled between snow-clad mountains of Bomdilla and Sella Pass, Dirang with its scenic valleys, heritage Gompas, mountains, Apple orchards, Kiwi, Orange, Persimmon plantations, flora, meadows, pebble-filled gentle mountain steams is a paradise for nature lovers, photographers, bird watchers, and trekkers. While Bomdilla and Tawang are extremely cold in winters, Dirang features a temperate climate making it an all-season tourist destination.

We are a 22 well-appointed Suits & Rooms property sitting on laps of nature. The guests can experience the thrills and beauty of raw nature right at their doorsteps. Situated at the midpoint of Guwahati and Tawang on Chariduar Tawang Road, we are 7½ hour’s drive from Guwahati and less than an hour’s drive from Bomdila. We have signature sightseeing and trekking packages to suit individual tastes. The owners of the property are traditional, renowned, and respected Monpa Family, the Bapus of Thembang (Heritage Fortified Village). The resort management is in hands of competent and professional business house.
Special Noth East signature packages are available to explore. The Management takes care of ILP (Inner Line Permit) and to and fro Travel in luxury cars on confirmed booking.

All the rooms and suites at this unique garden resort are clean, hygienic, and boasts of magnificent views. Monpa Way of Life
Their ancestry can be traced to the 4th century BC. The Monpas of Arunachal Pradesh are of the Buddhist faith. They are a traditional and hardy tribe, original inhabitants of the high, isolated valleys bordering Tibet and Bhutan. The Monpas accept the Dalai Lama as their supreme spiritual leader. The have played a key role in the development of Arunachal Prades by trade, enterprise and strengthening of the Gelugpa sect of Buddhism. The Tawang gompa, 5 hours drive thru the Sella Pass situated at 13600 feet above sea level is Asia’s second largest monastery. It drives the tourism industry of Arunachal Pradesh bringing in lakhs of tourists every year from all over the world.
